Ingredients

  • One block (8oz) regular cream
  • Dr. D's Original Barbeque Sauce
  • Your favorite rub (we used Cmac's Smoky Sweet Rub)

  • Aluminum Foil
  • Wood Smoking Chips (we used hickory)

Instructions

    Score the cream cheese

    Lightly score the top in one direction or in a crosshatch pattern (about ¼-inch deep). This helps smoke penetration and looks great when finished.

    Season

    Liberally coat all sides with BBQ rub (we used Cmac's Smoky Sweet Rub)

    Smoke

    Place cream cheese blocks in an aluminum foil boat and place directly on the smoker grate. Smoke at 225°F for 2–2 ½ hours until: The outside is lightly bronzed and the block is soft but still holds its shape

    Add Dr. D's Original Barbeque Sauce

    Remove from smoker and immediately top with: Warm Dr. D’s Original Barbeque Sauce, or Dr. D’s Original Barbeque Sauce Bacon Jam

    Serve

    Serve with your favorite crackers or crostini
