Dr. D's Barbeque Grilled Pork Spare Ribs
Ingredients
- 1 rack of pork spare ribs
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 jar Dr. D’s Original Barbeque Sauce

- Charcoal grill (we used Weber)
- Charcoal chimney
- Charcoal
- Sauce mop

Pork Chop Preparation
Rinse the ribs and pat dry thoroughly. Remove the underside membrane. Season evenly with your favorite rub.

Grill Setup
Charcoal: Light a charcoal chimney and allow the coals to heat for about 10 minutes until fully ignited. Heat Zones: Create a one-zone grill by pouring the hot coals evenly in the grill. Temperature: Preheat the grill to 350–450°F, ideal for even cooking.

Cooking Process
Arrange the ribs on the indirect heat side of the grill. Cover the grill and cook at approximately 250°-300°F for 60 minutes. Flip, cover again, and cook an additional 60 minutes. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and cook for another 2 hours.

Sauce Preparation
Warm Dr. D’s Original Barbeque Sauce in a saucepan over low heat. Do not allow the sauce to burn.

Finishing
Unwrap and place over the coals. Mop with sauce and cover for 1-2 minutes. Watch closely to prevent burning. Flip and mop with sauce, cover for 1-2 minutes. Flip and give a final mop.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
