  • 4 - 1/2lb Bone-in Pork Loin Chops
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 jar Dr. D’s Original Barbeque Sauce

Equipment

  • Charcoal grill (we used Weber)
  • Charcoal chimney
  • Charcoal
  • Sauce mop

Instructions

  1. 1

    Pork Chop Preparation

Rinse the chops and pat dry thoroughly. Season evenly with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Grill Setup

Charcoal: Light a charcoal chimney and allow the coals to heat for about 10 minutes until fully ignited. Heat Zones: Create a one-zone grill by pouring the hot coals evenly in the grill. Temperature: Preheat the grill to 350–450°F, ideal for even cooking.

  3. 3

    Cooking Process

Arrange the chops over the coals. Cover the grill and cook at approximately 400°F for 6-7 minutes. Flip, cover again, and cook an additional 6-7 minutes. Flip to get good color. Watch closely to prevent burning.

  4. 4

    Sauce Preparation

Warm Dr. D’s Original Barbeque Sauce in a saucepan over low heat. Do not allow the sauce to burn.

  5. 5

    Finishing

Once the chops are golden brown, apply the warm barbeque sauce over the chops. Cook for 1 minute, flip, apply sauce, cook for one minute and remove from the grill.
